The ninth NESAC (North Eastern Space Application Centre, Dept. of Space Govt. of India) Society Meeting, chaired byHon’ble Union Home Minister as President of the NESAC Society approved 110 projects for all eight States of North Eastern India. Out of this, 24 projects are approved for Assam state under Plan of Action (PoA) for utilisation of Space Inputs in Governance and Developmental Planning. These approved projects under PoA to be implemented in three years (i.e 2021-2024) time frame with funding support from NEC/MDONER/ISRO/NESAC as well as Assam Government. Sectors to be covered are as follows:
