- ASSAC has been conducting GIS Day consecutively over a period of time to create awareness about space technology and its application in various fields such as agriculture, urban planning, natural resource, and many more. The main objective of celebrating the GIS Day is to promote and create an interest to the future generation to opt for the study of space technology and explore its vast field. In addition, ASSAC has participated and won the best award for conduct of GIS DAY event during the year 2020 & 2021 from ESRI India in pan India level.
